CAFRAD, in partnership with SMIAfrica, is pleased to announce the organization of an in-person workshop on the theme “The Transformation of Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” which will take place on December 15 starting at 2:30 p.m. at CAFRAD headquarters in Rabat.

This workshop will address a major issue: the authenticity, traceability, and legal certification of information, made possible through blockchain technologies. These intelligent digital solutions make it possible to guarantee reliable decision-making value for information and communication at a time when Artificial Intelligence algorithms (generative AI, deepfakes, machine learning) are replacing humans in the production of multimedia and digital content.

The main concerns of the diplomatic corps include the compromise of diplomatic communications, interception, manipulation, or theft of sensitive information that could influence political, economic, or security decisions.

This risk can cause the greatest strategic damage, as it directly affects confidentiality, reputation, and the sovereignty of States.

The event is intended for all stakeholders, including communication specialists in public institutions, universities, the private sector, and civil society.
