To mark its 40th<\/sup> anniversary, the Ribat Al Fath Association for Sustainable Development organized the 8th<\/sup> edition of the Cultural Anthology, a major event held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This 2026 edition will serve as a strategic forum for reflection on a central theme: \u201cAdvanced Regionalization and Territorial Governance in Light of the Royal Vision and Artificial Intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bringing together public decision-makers, international experts, academics, and civil society actors, this forum, held from March 31 to April 2, 2026, in Rabat, will explore two key dynamics: strengthening territorial governance and integrating disruptive technologies.<\/p>\n

A Strong Institutional Opening<\/strong><\/p>\n

The inaugural session featured speeches by Mr. Abdelkrim Bennani, President of the Association, Prof. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition\u00a0and Administrative Reform, and Mr. Adib Benbrahim, Secretary of State for Housing. All emphasized the need to place digital transformation at the heart of local public policies.<\/p>\n

The opening conference, moderated by Mr. Lahcen Haddad, highlighted advanced regionalization as a lever of sovereignty and a tool for Morocco’s strategic positioning on the African continent, particularly within the framework of South-South cooperation.<\/p>\n

Territorial Governance: Between the Moroccan Model and the Demands for Efficiency<\/strong><\/p>\n

The panels organized at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences in Agdal addressed concrete issues related to territorial management.<\/p>\n

Digital Sovereignty and Strategic Intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another major segment of the Florilegium will focus on the challenges of digital technology and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

Youth at the Heart of the Region of the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

The youth panel, dedicated to the \u201cRegion of the Future,\u201d will highlight the vision of young talents, who are destined to play a central role in building innovative, inclusive, and competitive territories.<\/p>\n

A Closing Focused on the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

The proceedings, moderated in particular by Mr. Mohamed Essaaidi and Mr. Badreddine Benameur, will allow for the formulation of concrete recommendations to strengthen the convergence between territorial governance and digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Through this edition, the Floril\u00e8ge confirms its role as a platform of excellence, actively contributing to the discussion on a Morocco of regions that is innovative, sovereign, and resolutely focused on the future.<\/p>\n

High-Level African Participation: CAFRAD Present<\/strong><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the African dimension of this edition was strengthened by the participation of Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9 Assouvi, Director General of CAFRAD (African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development). Her presence at the inaugural session, held on March 31, 2026, at the Academy of the Kingdom, testifies to the growing interest of African institutions in the Moroccan experience in advanced regionalization and territorial governance. Within the framework of the Florilegium’s central theme, her contribution highlighted the importance of South-South cooperation and the sharing of expertise, particularly in the age of artificial intelligence, to support institutional and digital transformations across the continent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
