Rabat, June 15, 2026 \u2013 The Director General of CAFRAD \u2013 African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development, Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9 ASSOUVI, participated in Luanda in the sixth edition of ANGOTIC 2026 \u2013 Angola’s International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies, an event that brought together experts, businesses, institutions, and citizens to discuss the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.<\/p>\n

This edition featured more than 200 exhibitors, five seminars, ten roundtables, and over 100 national and international speakers.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the forum, the Director General of CAFRAD undertook a particularly busy schedule, during which he was received in separate audiences by the Minister of External Relations, T\u00e9te Ant\u00f3nio, the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, M\u00e1rio Augusto da Silva Oliveira, and the Secretary of State for Public Administration and Labor, Pedro Jos\u00e9 Filipe.<\/p>\n

During these meetings, which were also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Kingdom of Morocco, Jos\u00e9 Filipe, the Director General of CAFRAD emphasized that the institution’s fundamental value lies in placing people at the heart of the public service, through a multi-channel approach aimed at improving citizens’ access to public services.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9 Assouvi presented an overview of the organization, highlighting its main initiatives and strategic priorities. He also reaffirmed CAFRAD’s willingness to integrate senior Angolan consultants and a technical expert into its permanent staff.<\/p>\n

Also in Luanda, the Director-General visited the National School of Administration and Public Policy (ENAPP), where he learned about its operations and identified opportunities for cooperation in implementing a comprehensive capacity-building program for senior managers in the Angolan public administration.<\/p>\n

Based in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, CAFRAD is a pan-African intergovernmental organization established on November 22, 1962, by a resolution of the UNESCO General Assembly. Its mission is to strengthen institutional capacities, modernize public administration systems, and promote effective governance in Africa.<\/p>\n

The organization works to improve African public administration through training, research, coordination, and inter-African cooperation, thereby contributing to the economic and social development of its member states.<\/p>\n

CAFRAD currently has 45 African member states, including Angola, a founding member.<\/p>\n
