On the occasion of the 27th<\/sup> anniversary of the glorious Throne Day, Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9 Assouvi, Director General of the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD), extends\u2014on his own behalf and on behalf of the Centre\u2019s staff\u2014his warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes to His Majesty King Mohammed VI\u2014may God assist Him\u2014and to the entire Moroccan people.<\/p>\n

Throne Day is a pivotal moment in Moroccan national life. It celebrates the profound historical bond uniting the Throne and the Moroccan people, while highlighting the significant strides the Kingdom has made in governance, economic and social development, the modernization of public institutions, and its international standing.<\/p>\n

Under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco is pursuing an ambitious agenda of reform and sustainable development. This agenda is grounded in consolidating the rule of law, modernizing public administration, promoting good governance, strengthening advanced regionalization, and digitally transforming public services. These reforms contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens and enhancing the efficiency of public action.<\/p>\n

The Kingdom of Morocco has also established itself as a key player in South-South cooperation and a strategic partner for the African continent. True to its vision of a united, integrated, and prosperous Africa, Morocco is multiplying cooperation initiatives across various sectors, including training, skills development, investment, infrastructure, health, energy, agriculture, food security, and public governance. As a pan-African intergovernmental organization established in 1962, CAFRAD was founded in Tangier, where its historic offices remain located; its official headquarters is now in Rabat. Since its inception, the Centre has benefited from the unwavering support and generous hospitality of the Kingdom of Morocco in fulfilling its mission to build the capacity of African public administrations. This exemplary cooperation illustrates Morocco\u2019s commitment to modernizing public governance, developing administrative skills, and promoting a public administration that is innovative, efficient, and dedicated to sustainable development in Africa.<\/p>\n

On this auspicious occasion, CAFRAD renews its deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco for its steadfast support and reaffirms its determination to continue\u2014alongside Moroccan authorities and its member states\u2014efforts to promote a modern, high-performing public administration resolutely focused on the challenges of sustainable development in Africa.<\/p>\n
