Dubai, February 13, 2025 \u2013 The Director General of CAFRAD, Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9, and the Minister of Public Service of Madagascar, Mrs. RAZAKABOANA Hanitra Fitiavana, met on the sidelines of the 2025 World Government Summit (WGS), held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 11 to 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

During this productive meeting, the two leaders exchanged ideas on how to capitalize on and enhance the perspectives arising from this roundtable. Discussions focused on establishing strong partnerships and leveraging opportunities that this collaboration could offer, particularly in the areas of governance, sustainable development, and public management.<\/p>\n

The Director General of CAFRAD, Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9, reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the development of strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening capacities and fostering the exchange of experiences among Member States.<\/p>\n

This initiative is part of our desire to improve services and practices within African States. By establishing targeted collaborations, CAFRAD aims to maximize the impact of its actions and share best practices that have proven successful in our respective regions.<\/p>\n

In a context marked by socio-economic challenges and the need for more efficient administration, this collaboration aims to support strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of Madagascar’s public institutions. Through training programs, exchanges of expertise, and the development of strategic partnerships, CAFRAD intends to assist Madagascar in developing and implementing reforms tailored to the country\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n

The goal is to strengthen the capacities of institutional actors, improve the transparency and effectiveness of public services, and foster the emergence of more inclusive and participatory governance. This cooperation illustrates the shared commitment of CAFRAD and Madagascar to promote innovative administrative practices that are aligned with the requirements of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

The Minister emphasized the importance of relocating CAFRAD\u2019s activities to Member States, particularly those who are up to date with their contributions. According to her, this would be an effective means of ensuring CAFRAD\u2019s visibility and strengthening the links between Member States.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Minister expressed Madagascar’s readiness to host a CAFRAD event on its territory. This would provide an excellent opportunity to promote fruitful exchanges and develop joint initiatives in the areas of public service and capacity building.<\/p>\n

This confirms the shared vision of CAFRAD and Madagascar to build a more united and stronger Africa, capable of tackling development challenges with sustainable and local solutions.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of this meeting, both parties, CAFRAD and Madagascar, agreed to continue their bilateral collaboration to serve the interests of Africa. This mutual commitment reflects the desire to strengthen institutional and administrative capacities across the African continent, based on fruitful exchanges and concrete actions.<\/p>\n
