Africa, facing systemic, geopolitical, economic, and climate-related crises, must rethink its approaches on the international stage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To this end, the <strong>CAFRAD (African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development)<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>Group of African Ambassadors in Morocco (GAAM)<\/strong>, is organizing the <strong>first edition of the high-level Pan-African Diplomatic Conference<\/strong> on <strong>May 15, 2025, in Rabat<\/strong>, from <strong>2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Moroccan time)<\/strong>, in a <strong>hybrid format<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This conference aims to enhance the skills of African diplomats and decision-makers in order to foster strategic leadership capable of effectively defending national and continental interests in bilateral, multilateral, and intercontinental arenas. It is intended for <strong>Ministers, Ambassadors, senior officials, top executives, and African decision-makers<\/strong>, as well as <strong>representatives from interested partner countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The goal is to provide participants with <strong>conceptual and operational tools<\/strong> to better understand current geopolitical shifts, master influence diplomacy strategies, strengthen interpersonal (soft) skills, and promote responsible, ethical, and inclusive governance. Discussions will include practical case studies, such as <strong>China\u2019s diplomacy in Africa<\/strong>, the <strong>EU\u2019s Global Gateway strategy<\/strong>, <strong>recent U.S. doctrines<\/strong>, <strong>Morocco\u2019s economic diplomacy<\/strong>, and the <strong>climate diplomacy of Gulf countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference will be led by <strong>Dr. Coffi Dieudonn\u00e9 ASSOUVI<\/strong>, Director General of CAFRAD, Ambassador, former negotiator within the African Union and WTO, and expert in modern diplomacy. It will be moderated by <strong>Professor Mohamed HARAKAT<\/strong>, a well-known professor of strategic governance at Mohammed V University in Rabat. The event will be held under the patronage of <strong>H.E. Mouhamadou Youssifou<\/strong>, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cameroon, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Morocco, and will be attended by <strong>Mrs. Amal El Fallah SEGHROUCHNI<\/strong>, Delegate Minister for Digital Transition and Chair of CAFRAD\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Participation is free<\/strong>, but <strong>registration is mandatory<\/strong> in order to obtain a certificate (<strong>fee: 1000 MAD<\/strong>).
