Cameroon–Morocco Forum: CAFRAD Takes Part in South–South Cooperation Initiatives among Member States
The Cameroon–Morocco Forum, scheduled for 22–23 December in Rabat and Mohammedia, is part of a broader effort to strengthen strategic partnerships among African States. On this occasion, the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) is participating as an institutional and research partner, reaffirming its key role in supporting cooperation initiatives among its Member States.
By hosting part of the Forum’s proceedings at its headquarters in Rabat, CAFRAD seeks to foster spaces for strategic dialogue bringing together public decision-makers, economic stakeholders, academics, and institutional partners around major themes such as economic cooperation, strategic investment, public governance, academic innovation, and human capital development. This exchange platform aims to promote the sharing of experiences, the pooling of best practices, and the building of sustainable partnerships between Cameroon and Morocco.
Through the panels organized—particularly those dedicated to growth corridors, public sector transformation, and academic cooperation—CAFRAD reaffirms its mission to support Member States in the modernization of public administrations, the strengthening of institutional capacities, and the alignment of public policies with development priorities.
The third panel, hosted at ENSET Mohammedia, will further deepen the academic and professional dimensions of this cooperation, with a focus on innovation, technical training, and the alignment between education and employment.
Through its engagement in the Cameroon–Morocco Forum, CAFRAD demonstrates its commitment to supporting, structuring, and promoting inter-State cooperation initiatives, in service of an integrated, united, and forward-looking Africa.
