CAFRAD’s new Director General, Prof. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI, has officially taken office on July 25th, 2024. The handover ceremony was held at CAFRAD’s headquarters, and was chaired by the President of the Governing Board , Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate in charge of the Digital Transition and Administration Reform of the Kingdom of Morocco, and in the presence of a delegation of the Ministry, His Excellency Mr. Serge DAGNON, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin in Morocco, a honorable representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of Morocco, as well as a delegation of CAFRAD’s collaborators.

During her opening speech, the President thanked the new Director for his commitment to making of CAFRAD’s affluence his new mission. She also thanked the outgoing Director General for successfully completing his missions.

Prof. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI then thanked the Beninese and Moroccan governments for their support for his new functions, and reiterated his commitment to modernizing CAFRAD by proposing an innovative program, highlighting the values of authenticity, modernity and ethics.
