CAFRAD celebrates the Independence Day of the Republic of Djibouti

On the occasion of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Djibouti, the African Center for Administrative Training and Research for Development (CAFRAD) extends its warmest congratulations to the Government and people of Djibouti.

This historic date, marking Djibouti’s accession to national sovereignty on June 27, 1977, embodies the legitimate aspirations of a people for self-determination, freedom, and the building of a modern state, resolutely focused on progress, peace, and regional cooperation.

CAFRAD welcomes the ongoing efforts of the Djiboutian authorities in the areas of public governance, administrative modernization, and strengthening state institutions. As a member state of CAFRAD, the Republic of Djibouti actively contributes to pan-African discussions on institutional development, the transformation of public action, and the promotion of an administration that serves its citizens.

On this day of commemoration, CAFRAD renews its commitment to continuing its fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Djibouti, as part of its training, research, and technical support missions for African public administrations.

May this Day further strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity between African peoples and rekindle the flame of unity and sovereignty that animates our continent.

CAFRAD expresses its wishes for peace, prosperity, and progress to the Djiboutian people.

Long live the Republic of Djibouti! Long live a united and sovereign Africa!
