CAFRAD Director General, Dr. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI, Appointed Honorary Member of the Mother Africa 2030 Foundation
Rabat, May 21, 2025 – In a gesture of gratitude, great admiration, and deep respect, the Mother Africa 2030 Foundation has officially appointed Dr. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI, Director General of CAFRAD, as an Honorary Member. This distinction was announced by the Foundation’s Founding President, Mr. Belkacem BOUTAYEB, as a respectful tribute to the remarkable commitment of the CAFRAD Director General to capacity building, training, governance, and the promotion of civic values among African states.
Through this appointment, the Mother Africa 2030 Foundation intends to draw on Dr. Assouvi’s extensive experience to support its mission of mentoring young African entrepreneurs, particularly in the areas of training, support, and civic awareness. President Boutayeb expressed the hope that this partnership will inspire a new generation of African leaders, rooted in the values of solidarity, responsibility, and sustainable development, an objective perfectly aligned with the strategic orientations of CAFRAD’s new roadmap.
This symbolic gesture demonstrates the shared desire of the Foundation and CAFRAD to foster a positive and inclusive dynamic across the continent. The recognition of Dr. Assouvi’s leadership impact, since his appointment as head of the Pan-African intergovernmental organization on July 9, 2024, is evident in his decisive role in transforming African public administrations and raising governance standards. His enlightened vision for the promotion and revaluation of this historic institution is already bearing fruit, as evidenced by the numerous partnership projects undertaken with national, continental, and international stakeholders.
The Mother Africa 2030 Foundation thus reaffirms its determination to work hand in hand with figures committed to serving Africa, such as the Director General of CAFRAD, to build together the Africa of tomorrow—a sovereign, prosperous, ethical, inclusive, and united Africa.
