We are pleased to announce the official launch of the French version of the free MOOC titled “AI and Digital Transformation in the Public Sector”—an initiative led by UNESCO in collaboration with the prestigious University of Oxford.

This innovative training program takes place against a global backdrop characterized by the accelerating pace of digital transformation and the rise of artificial intelligence within public administrations. It aims to support public servants, policymakers, and public sector professionals in developing the essential skills needed to understand and master these evolving trends.

 Rich and Accessible Content

Spanning approximately 12 hours, this MOOC offers a flexible learning path that is accessible to all and designed to address the practical needs of modern administrations. It covers strategic themes such as:

• Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights;
• Data Governance and Management;
• Leadership in the Digital Age;
• The Use of Generative AI in Public Action.

Thanks to an interactive pedagogical approach, participants will acquire practical knowledge and tools that can be directly applied within their professional environments.

 A Collaborative International Initiative

This program was co-developed with the support of the SPARK-AI Alliance—a global network bringing together schools of public administration and research institutions committed to public sector innovation. This collaboration ensures that the content remains aligned with the realities and challenges faced by administrations worldwide.

The French version of the course was made possible through the contributions of several key partners—notably the Digital Learning Hub (Luxembourg), the *Campus du Numérique Public* (France), and the Canada School of Public Service—thereby illustrating a strong momentum of international cooperation in the field of public sector training.

A Recognized Certification

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a joint certificate issued by UNESCO and the University of Oxford, thereby validating their commitment and the skills acquired in the field of artificial intelligence applied to the public sector.
