This agenda is grounded in consolidating the rule of law, modernizing public administration, promoting good governance, strengthening advanced regionalization, and digitally transforming public services. The Kingdom of Morocco has also established itself as a key player in South-South cooperation and a strategic partner for the African continent. True to its vision of a united, integrated, and prosperous Africa, Morocco is multiplying cooperation initiatives across various sectors, including training, skills development, investment, infrastructure, health, energy, agriculture, food security, and public governance. As a pan-African intergovernmental organization established in 1962, CAFRAD was founded in Tangier, where its historic offices remain located; its official headquarters is now in Rabat. Since its inception, the Centre has benefited from the unwavering support and generous hospitality of the Kingdom of Morocco in fulfilling its mission to build the capacity of African public administrations. This exemplary cooperation illustrates Morocco’s commitment to modernizing public governance, developing administrative skills, and promoting a public administration that is innovative, efficient, and dedicated to sustainable development in Africa.
