CAFRAD DELEGATION PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO HER EXCELLENCY, MADAM THE AMBASSADOR OF SUDAN TO MOROCCO

New day, new embassy! This time, the CAFRAD delegation, led by the new Director Dr. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI had the honor of being received by Her Excellency, Madam Ambassador of Sudan in the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat.

Firstly, the Director General of CAFRAD wished to express his sincere gratitude to the Ambassador of Sudan, Her Excellency Madame Mawada Omer Hageltoam El Badawi for the warm welcome she gave to the CAFRAD delegation, and at the same time, to the Government of Sudan for supporting his candidacy for the position of Director General and for their unfailing support of CAFRAD and its projects.

Then, the Director General expressed his desire to listen to Member States and, in this sense, voiced his availability to collaborate with Sudan as with all member countries. At the same time, Her Excellency the Ambassador assured the Director General of the support of the Government of Sudan and her personal support for the success of the mandate of the Directorate.

Thirdly, the Director General of CAFRAD, under his strategy “CAFRAD, leader on the challenges of public action of tomorrow“, presented the objectives, the strategic axes and some flagship projects that will be implemented very soon, including the complete reform of the Pan-African Organization to make it a center of excellence, the organization of a round table of partners, as well as the trans-disciplinary conference to celebrate CAFRAD’s 60 years of existence.

The very fruitful and constructive exchanges led to new ideas for cooperation between CAFRAD and Sudan, in this case in the field of high-level training to equip senior officials with skills to face multiple postmodern public action and new multidisciplinary transformations challenges. Madam Ambassador expressed the hope that CAFRAD training would take place in Arabic, English and Portuguese in order to integrate more actively nationals from Arabic-speaking, English-speaking and Portuguese-speaking countries.  This wish, much appreciated by the Director General, falls within the mandate of CAFRAD whose working languages ​​are: Arabic, English, French and Portuguese.

The new vision places CAFRAD in the strategic repositioning at the continental level to face competition and new requirements in terms of certification and diploma training, research, documentation and benchmarking in the field of transformation and innovation of public administrations.
