The transformation and modernization of administration in Africa must inevitably pass through digital transformation (DX). Digital revolutions are at the heart of governance, efficiency, and transparency issues in public services. Indeed, the digitalization of public administrations is a key lever to improve access to services, enhance institutional performance, and foster better management of public resources. In this regard, CAFRAD is firmly committed to promoting training and building the capacities of public and private sector actors in this crucial field. Aware of the challenges related to integrating digital technologies into administrative processes, CAFRAD places particular emphasis on raising awareness and supporting public officials through tailored training.
Digitalization of administration is not only a condition for improving services to citizens, but it is also a key element in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By facilitating access to information, optimizing resource management, and promoting digital inclusion, digital transformation allows for a better response to the aspirations of populations and contributes effectively to building a more resilient and equitable Africa.
