The African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) extends its warmest and most respectful congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Romuald Wadagni, President of the Republic of Benin, following his resounding election—with an overwhelming 94.05% of the votes cast—to the highest office of the land.

This election, which took place at the conclusion of a democratic process, reflects the renewed confidence of the Beninese people in their republican institutions and in the vision put forward for the country’s development, stability, and progress.

CAFRAD commends Benin’s commitment to consolidating the rule of law, democratic governance, and reforms aimed at enhancing the efficiency of public action. It expresses its high appreciation for the country’s steadfast efforts regarding the modernization of its administration and the promotion of sustainable development.

On this momentous occasion, CAFRAD expresses its hope that this new mandate will be marked by significant strides for the benefit of the Beninese people, as well as by the strengthening of regional and international cooperation—particularly in the fields of public governance, administrative capacity building, and African integration.
